When I first started practicing yoga more consistently, I did so as a way to improve my mobility and calm my thoughts. Over time, I realised that I truly “met myself” on the mat each time I practiced. What my body was able to do in one session might not be the same in the next. My focus and ability to stay present during practice yesterday, may not be the same as today. With time and regular practice, I became more and more familiar with my body and my mind, and more curious about yoga.

In 2025, I enrolled in the Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Home. My intention was to find out more about my practice and the principles of yoga. I had no idea that this training would take me on the most beautiful and most challenging journey. I met new parts of myself I was unfamiliar with, reconnected to my body and emotions, rediscovered my voice and how I can use it with truth and compassion, reflected upon my true values and how I can stand grounded in them, learned how to overcome my fears and limitations. It was the beginning of the journey to live in a way that is true to myself.

During my classes, I will share what I have learned about yoga in a safe space, where you can reconnect with yourself with acceptance, curiosity and enthusiasm.
